Independent Fire & Safety Training Ltd provide a number of ready made courses which can be tailored to meet your individual requirements for commercial or industrial environments.

We offer the following:



 All courses can be carried out either on your own premises or at hotels with suitable venues.

Course numbers are limited to 20 delegates ensuring safety and individual attention.

Duration of courses to suit timescales and individual needs.





Fire Safety Awareness Training
AIM: To provide general fire safety and awareness training which includes training on portable fire fighting equipment.

Delegates will be able to identify, select and use various types of portable fire fighting equipment.
LOCATION: Courses are normally held at customer's premises or at an off site venue.
DURATION: Courses last approximately two hours.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Staff who may, as part of company fire procedures use a fire extinguisher to aid escape from premises
CERTIFICATE: Delegates will receive a certificate of attendance.

Fire Warden Training
AIM: To provide general fire safety and awareness training which includes training on portable fire fighting equipment. In addition subjects are covered specific to the needs of a fire warden to carry out their duties effectively in a fire and non-fire emergency role.
LOCATION: Courses are normally held at customer's premises or at an off site venue.
DURATION: Courses last approximately three hours.
Full day course also available.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Staff who may, as part of company fire procedures have additional responsibilities for fire safety in the workplace.
CERTIFICATE: Delegates will receive a certificate of attendance.

Practical Fire Extinguisher Training
1 Hour Practical - a certificated course where delegates view a detailed video on basic fire safety. All delegates are invited to participate in extinguishing a variety of live fire demonstrations under guidance.

Fire Drill - Supervision/Evaluation
We offer the following:


Fire drills should be undertaken to ensure that staff know what to do in the event of fire and quickly and calmly leave the building. ifast offer a service where we supervise the evacuation and offer an independent and impartial report on your fire drill. We will also offer guidance, where necessary, to improve the standard of evacuation and existing fire procedures for during this essential training exercise.
